This is it. This is precisely the work my life has always been leading me towards. This is where everything I love about storytelling, cinematography, editing, and creating comes together in the most fulfilling, complete way. These projects are very important to me, because they are not just things I’ve worked on; they are exactly the kind of films and visual stories I’ve always wanted to create, and continue creating more of.
This section holds some of the work I’m most proud of, the projects that pushed me creatively, challenged me, and helped shape me into a stronger filmmaker. Working on short films and cinematic projects has taught me so much; not just technically, but also in the way I see stories, people, emotions, and the process of bringing an idea to life. Being involved in these projects across cinematography, editing, and direction has made the experience even more personal, and that’s what makes this work in particular stay with me.
These two short films mark an important part of my journey so far, not just because of the recognition they received, but because of everything they taught me in the process. Bhairavi and Knot both pushed me creatively in different ways, and working on them helped me grow extremely in cinematography, editing, and the way I approach storytelling as a whole.
Bhairavi, which I worked on in 2024, won Best Short Film at Kaarva Film Festival and secured Second Place at the NCP State Level Short Film Festival. Knot, which I worked on in 2025 as the cinematographer and editor, went on to win Best Short Film at the Silver Screen Film Society, along with Best Cinematography and Best Editing. It also received recognition at the Cortokino International Short Film Festival.
A huge part of this journey has also been Caps Production, the production house behind both of these films. More than just being a part of the work, they have played a huge role in my growth, and I’m truly grateful for the trust, support, and collaboration that helped make so much of this possible.
More than anything, these projects show me how far I’ve come, and remind me of how much further I still want to go. There’s growth in them, there’s learning in them, and there’s a lot more still waiting to be created.
